It’s a portable front-foot weighing device with a built-in EID system. You just put an attractant like a salt block or molasses in the integrated trough, and when your cattle come up to eat, it captures their weights.
It keeps track of your average daily gains, rate of gains for the whole group, and shoots back the most current weight on those groups to the cloud via cell connection.
How does it work?
It could not be easier!
Step 1: Take the unit to your cattle. It’s highly portable, super easy to move around, and set up only takes a few minutes!
Step 2: Put your attractant in the trough, which will entice the animal to voluntarily step on the platform.
Step 3: The integrated EID reader identifies the animal. The front feet of the animal are weighed and an algorithm converts this to an estimated full body weight.
Step 4: The estimated full body weight data is sent securely to the cloud.
Step 5: View your data on the app: it displays easy-to-understand data such as individual or group weights and growth over time.
And this thing is RUGGED! It’s built to take all kinds of abuse that your cattle will throw at it.
Plus, it’s got a solar panel on the top to keep the battery charged all the time, so you don’t have to worry about charging when you’re out in the middle of the pasture!
