Loading

Loading is fast and easy. Set your bale on the rear and keep sliding them forward. In most cases taking less than 5 minutes! Improved rear bumper will really take a bump and the lights mounted inside rectangular tubing where they are impossible to knock out or drag off.

Hauling

As soon as you’re loaded, off you go! You can be confident that the extra wide over size frame, the extra heavy main tube and the extra heavy rail supports will take you down the road safely. The Red Rhino hay trailer comes equipped with safety chains, brake, tail & signal lights, safety reflectors and electric brakes.

Unloads in seconds! Pull a lever and you’re done! No need for a tractor to unload. The double latch keeps your hay loaded until you’re ready to unload and cuts the stress on the main tube in half. It’s so easy, anyone can do it. One lever actuates both latches at once.

Bob always says “We don’t want to build a cheaper trailer, we want to build a better trailer. if we can make any of our products better, we will.” Now we have.

And here are a few reasons why:

FRAME

The frame is the base of your hay trailer. Every thing is attached to it. The Red Rhino hay trailer has an extra wide frame constructed of oversized rectangular tubing. More stable, heavier, durable and stronger! The extra width allows for a steeper unloading pitch for more reliable unloading.

MAIN TUBE

The main tube is the backbone of your trailer. All Red Rhino hay trailers are built with an 8 5/8″OD .322 wall thick main tube that weighs 31.10 lbs. per foot. Compare this to competitors that use 8″ square .188 wall tubing that weighs only 19.63 lbs. per foot or competitors that use 8 5/8″OD .250 wall that weighs only 22.36 lbs. per foot. Red Rhino’s main tube is 33% heavier than the competition.

RAIL SUPPORTS

Rail supports are very important as they directly carry most of the weight. Red Rhino’s are constructed of 2″ x 3″ x 3/16″ rectangular tubing. They contain 60% more steel than the pipe rail supports used by competitors.

DOUBLE LATCH SYSTEM

Single latch trailers are prone to tearing the sidewall out of the main tube over time. This will never happen on the Red Rhino hay trailer. The double latch system cuts the metal fatigue in half as the weight is dispersed giving you years of reliable service when you need it most. Linkage between the latches allows the trailer to operate with only one lever.

REAR BUMPER & TAIL LIGHT PROTECTION

The rear bumper has to be tough because it is susceptible to be bumped by the loading tractor. You will not bend this bumper! We use the same material the frame is constructed from. The taillights are placed in front of the bumper, making them impossible to hit with the loader. They are also enclosed in frame material so you cannot drag them off and your wiring is protected as well.
